When we talk about international shopping destinations, few places come and Tokyo is one of the most mention. Home to some of the world’s most important fashion and streetwear labels, the retail landscape of Japan’s capital city is unlike anywhere else in the world for several reasons. Most notorious, for example, is the city’s wealth of subcultures, cliques and tribes that can be spotted on corners throughout the city, a visual encyclopedia of fashion and styles from past to present and even beyond. It’s why we choose this destination for our new collection in collaboration with the designer Shinobu Takashi.
To help you to be present to our showroom party and to get the best journey in Tokyo we made a little guide, this, is our recommendation:
TRANSPORT
Before getting to Tokyo, buy a SUICA card online and pick it up as soon as you land. This SUICA card will be your lifeline during your stay. You can then refill the credit at any train station.
MAPS
The locals use a more comprehensive transit app called NaviTime which will tell you even more details such as which train car you should board so that you can get to your transfer faster.
HOMESTAY
Tokyo is one of the world’s best luxury hotel cities, and competition keeps standards very high. If you have an early morning arrival or a late evening departure, opt for The Peninsula Tokyo, since depending on how you book the hotel, you could enjoy flexible check-in and check-out. This enables you to gain early access to your room or suite or, if it’s not available, to another room until your room is ready, a godsend when you only have limited time in the city and may need a shower or power nap. There’s also a good lap pool for those wanting an invigorating swim before or after sightseeing in Tokyo.
But we recommend you this hotel by his standing and his close location to our showroom:
The Strings by Intercontinental in Shinagawa

A private tour with the Backstreet Guides, Yoko, skillfully guide you through the busy Tsukiji Fish Market, got you efficiently from place to place on the Tokyo subway system, and shared with you the history and traditions at Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa.
